SHOES FOR SHERPAS

 Garmont is pleased to announce a partnership with non-profit, Shoes for Sherpas, an organization dedicated to providing footwear to Nepali porters and villagers to create a co-branded outdoor boot.

 

Sherpas are an ethnic group living primarily in the mountainous regions of eastern Nepal. Many make their living as porters in the tourism trade as well as in the day-to-day transport of goods from village to village. While quality footwear is often either unavailable or unaffordable, Shoes for Sherpas looks to provide as much footwear as possible to those living in the region.
